Folk/Pop - I came across 'The Idolins' on the internet about 6 weeks ago when I was scouting talent for future episodes. I heard them and instantly thought that their music was great. It took a while to nail down a date for an interview, but it was definitely worthwhile! They are one of the most fun groups of people that I've been able to hang out with in the course of producing this podcast. A really solid group of friends who produce beautiful music.
I'd describe their music as acoustic pop with folk music sensibilities, effortlessly blending together folkier instruments like the cello and cajon, with catchy pop-inspired melodies.
