Doom - I met 'Facebook Sensation' Rob Hooey and his gang of merry men, Sam Cooper, Tom Mowforth and Pat Pask at 'The Washington' in Sheffield. It was a metal night which featured future Proc-Cast guests Vodun as well as limb and was organised by Holy Spider Promotions. I had a great time talking to them about everything to do with their band and how they've come to be where they are. Limb are a doom band with a real groove. Downtuned guitars and powerful beats drive their songs. If you like this, I'd thoroughly recommend getting hold of a copy of their 2015 album 'Terminal' and listening to it from start to finish. The album flows brilliantly and if you're like me, you'll want to restart it as soon as you get to the end.
Limb don't take themselves too seriously, I like that about them. I suppose it does help that their lead singer leads a double life as a standup comedian. An offensive question was requested by the band, duly I obliged. You can hear the response in this episode...
