Rock - An interview recorded in the back of a mid-90s Toyota Previa, now that's Rock'n'Roll. (Also an excuse for poor interview sound quality, but that's beside the point.) I went out to see Vodun on the first night of their UK tour with previous Proc-Cast guests Limb at The Washington in Sheffield and had a en excellent time listening to and speaking with both bands. Understandably disappointed that factors beyond their control meant they couldn't stop in Nottingham for a veggie burger at Annie's Burger Shack, Chantal, Linz and Zel were troopers and gave me a good interview despite missing out.
They are a band that fuse together many styles from Soul right the way through Metal, taking some of the best elements of each to create something that's heavy and melodic in equal measures. When a friend of mine posted their video for Mawu on Facebook, I knew I had to get them on the show!
