Soul/Singer Songwriter - Just as talented as his famous goalkeeping namesake (albeit in a very different way) gentle giant Rob forges soulful songs that blend influences from every part of his diverse musical history. Fresh from releasing his self titled EP, Rob joined me at Proc-Cast HQ to talk about music. I'd not seen much of him prior to our conversation, only enough to intrigue me and think that he would be a great guest to have on the show.
Once I got Rob and his manager Greg into the studio, I was instantly sure that I'd made the right choice in having him come and do a session. He's charismatic and a genuinely nice guy, as well as having a fantastic voice and songwriting ability that most people could only dream of. As one comment on the live performance video of Rob's track 'Blue' put it he's a 'Fabulous talent'. I'm inclined to agree with that one!
