Folk - John Hardy plays a brand of acoustic guitar music for the thoughtful listener. His well thought out and crafted lyrics weave tales of life in the North of England, taking in love and loss in equal measure.
I first came into contact with John via a Facebook page for musicians in Nottingham where he had commented on a post about the lack of support in music for people who have aged out of their twenties. I offered John and some others the link to submit their music to The Proc-Cast. John's music stood out to me, it was his Christmas tune that caught my ear and made me think that I should invite him on the show.
