Singer/Songwriter - This week, it's singer-songwriter Holly Smith. Holly's music was described on the Proc-Cast Facebook page this week as 'Gorgeous' after the release of our first live video. I'm inclined to agree with that, she has a very pure and sweet voice which suits her music well. Holly came along without much in the way of professionally recorded music and it meant that we had the opportunity to record four live tracks rather than the usual two for this episode. I really enjoyed recording them, and it made me happy personally that I was able to send her away with copies for her own use.
I first found out about Holly when I saw her perform at the 2015 Nottingham Comic-Con, where I was running the sound equipment for the event. I thought then that she definitely had talent. She dealt with a Stormtrooper stage invasion really well and threw in a great cover of 'Teenage Dirtbag' at the end even if she did change the words to make it more 'family friendly'!
