Avatars are understood to be incarnations of the Divine in human or animal form to counteract evil or darkness in the world. These avatars and self-realized souls, those who realize their true Selves, are the hallmarks of enlightenment and divinity. And, yes, thankfully, there are so many of them living today amongst us. The question is whether or not we really want to find any of them!
