As part of Bob’s series on PLANT STORIES – LIFE MEDICNES, Barbara Salvatore will be the guest on How’s It Growin’? on Wednesday, May 19, 2021. Barbara Salvatore is an author and artist from Verdigre, Nebraska. She is also a practicing herbalist and offers classes in traditional plant medicine. She and Bob will be talking about wild plants, can be foraged for food and medicine. This week they will be talking about cleavers (goosegrass) and ground ivy (Ale’s Hoof) as well as “Foraging Fun” with cresses and milkweed shoots.
Barbara Salvatore is also a practicing Herbalist and offers classes in traditional Plant Medicine and Horse Care. She is the author of Big Horse Woman and three other as-yet unpublished books: Magghie, The Trail, and Together to Gather, all part of the same series.
