For many reasons and in many ways, Chief-Captain Moroni was a great hero to Mormon. Mormon had so much respect and admiration for Chief-Captain Moroni and what he had accomplished. He sincerely hoped that all of his future readers would understand what a powerful disciple of Christ Moroni was.
