The role of the final year dissertation.
Emma Weitkamp discusses with her guest Dr Emmanuel Adukwu, Senior Lecturer in Applied Sciences and Brodie Walker, a recent graduate who now works as a senior epidemiologist for Public Health England, their thoughts on how the final year dissertation can be a vital development tool for students. Through finding out what the student’s needs are, the supervisor and student can work together to ensure that the dissertation supplies skills and experience that move the student towards their goal.
