This Talking Talent episode focuses on the award winning UWE Bristol Equity programme. Equity is a forward – looking talent development scheme launched in response to the disadvantages Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic students face upon entering the labour market.
In this extended episode we’ll be outlining the work of Equity and more specifically its career mentoring programme, hearing from employers and academic insight around the benefits of engaging with the scheme.
Research by McKinsey 2015 found that ethnically diverse companies are 35% more likely to financially outperform the national industry median, and therefore their competitors.
