Colombino proves yet again that he likes to re-create feelings or associations with his music – in this case, animalistic imagery comes to mind with the sly, crawling opening of Circling of Voltures. The track is ominously slow, mimicking the actions of a predatory animal and it's build-up to its catch with its tri-tone, circular melody and droning, dry reverb in the background.
