When you think pharmacy and rap music, you probably about drug abuse. Tork Barayan (aka King Rx or Torki) is working to change that image. As a pharmacy student who has seen opioid addiction impact his own family, he makes music to be a positive influence and try to show the less glamorous side of drug use with his story and knowledge of pharmacy
Not many pharmacy students rap or make music that hits on politics. Not a lot of pharmacy students were featured in a major newspaper like the Columbus Dispatch. Not many pharmacy students are Torki.
