Based on the poem The Jabberwocky by Lewis Carroll. Tried my best to not lift too much from the original.

I recall what started the fight
Skulking past, the homes at night
To the wooded place where no one ever goes
Through a deep crevasse that no one else could pass
But the one who put it there
So it goes

Far from where our walls close
The mimsy and the borogoves, open to the meadow in the wabe
And the momewraths outgrabe

Down a path that maps forgot
Sheath your blade and stand in thought
Tread lightly now, it stalks and must be fed
But no one goes home tonight, not until that jabberwock is dead

Jaws that bite claws that catch
The very thing that makes me wretch
Is all the souls, the kingsman failed to save

The tunnel opened to a darkened grove
Far past the land of slithy toves
Look sharp friend, for it's evercloser now
It hears the quiver on your lip and salivates for the sweat upon your brow

It won't listen to a word you say
It can see you from a mile a way
With eyes of fire, there's nowhere left to run
But with vorpal sword in hand, its one two, it is done
