In the book of Exodus we see God giving the grace of rescue, giving the Law that His people might live in gratitude, and giving sacrifices to remind them there will always be more grace when they fail. This is true freedom. In Christ we've been set free: we've been given a desire to do the right thing and through the power of the Spirit the ability to obey, to live as sons and daughters, not slaves.
