Such soul-feeding truth is found in this passage, one complete picture of what it means to live by faith. God delivers us by faith and allows us to suffer by faith. Suffering doesn't mean your faith has failed. Rather, God sustains us through suffering by faith. We have no better example of this that in our Savior, the Lord Jesus.
