Paul's joy in the midst of suffering can be ours when we realize our suffering brings the gospel (through us) to people we otherwise would never meet. It emboldens others to share Christ as they see the gospel put on display through our suffering, And the gospel testimony cannot be stopped no matter how messy our circumstances due to suffering.
