Because our lives are full of sin, they should also be full of repentance. Our God is slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love. It is His kindness that leads us to repentance. Psalm 51 helps us to call upon the character of God, confess and ask for forgiveness, and then be able to rejoice and speak of God's goodness.
