Hebrews 9:15 - Christ is the mediator of the new covenant. We are now ambassadors for Christ - his representatives to the world where we live. Ambassadors live in an embassy, where the ambassador's country and culture are promoted.
We the church live in the embassy of heaven, promoting the lifestyle and morals of the kingdom. The first and most important call of the church is to encourage others to be reconciled to God.
