In Adam, all die. Our relationship with each other and with the world around us is fallen, because of sin. We cannot look on the face of God and live; he is holy and we are not. //

But there is hope: the Word became flesh and dwelt among us. Man, in God’s image falls. But then Jesus takes on the image of man, to raise mankind again.
