Starting a new year can stir up new ideas, new plans, and new goals. When you think of the things God has placed in your heart, do you step forward with the mentality of “I can”? Unfortunately, there are too many believers today that don't see themselves in this way...we see ourselves as “cannot’s.”
Benaiah had real obstacles before him. He really did go up against Moab’s mightiest warriors, he really did go into that lion’s lair, and he really stood up to a mighty Egyptian enemy, but to do so he had to move past his excuses. Let this year be the time you move past challenges and operate in faith.
Just as Jesus was raised with God’s supernatural power from the dead, this same power is working in you and will raise you up and strengthen you.
