Programme Overview:
We shall be exploring the belief shared by various religions across the world that oneday the The Messiah has come !
In this show we shall be shedding some light on what is meant by the Messiah, and if he has come, then who is he and where is he.
And I hope the poetry you will hear today will give us all an insight into understanding these questions and their answers too… through Poetry of course!
We shall be hearing poetry that was written by Hazrat Mirza Ghulaam Ahmad who claimed to be this Promised Messiah of the latter days.
We shall also be hearing the echoing sounds of the poet and singer Ishmail Baffour, the Scottish poet and Teacher Joseph McTaggart, the working class poetical philanthropist Hamaad Ur Rehman, and finally the distinguished poet Issah Ahmad Wemah.
