In Theory of Knowledge, reason and emotion are two of the four ways of knowing together with Language & Perception. Reasoning can give us certainty, but this belief is open to doubt as reason is only as certain as the premises in which is it based, flawed reasoning leading to fallible conclusions. Reason needs to be balanced with emotion, which has traditionally been seen as an obstacle to knowledge than a source of it. The script will explore their role as a source of knowledge and their positive role in our mental lives.
