On December 6, 2016, the Ash Center for Democratic Governance and Innovation hosted a talk organized by the program on crisis leadership titled, “Innovations in Disaster Management: The Use of Technology in Crisis Response and Humanitarian Relief Disaster Recovery.” Panelists included Doug Ahlers, Senior Fellow with the program on crisis leadership; Vincenzo Bolletino, Director of Resilient Communities Program at the Harvard Humanitarian Initiative and Piyush Tewari, Founder of SaveLIFE foundation and a Harvard Kennedy School mid-career student. Dutch Leonard, George F. Baker Jr. Professor of Public Management at the Kennedy School and Eliot I. Snider and Family Professor of Business Administration and Cochair of the Social Enterprise Initiative at Harvard Business School, moderated the talk.
