On Friday, July 21st, the Ash Center for Democratic Governance and Innovation and the California Citizens Redistricting Commission, the winner of the 2017 Roy and Lila Ash Innovations Award for Public Engagement in Government, hosted a special lunch conversation on Capitol Hill about redistricting reform. The event included a panel discussion, moderated by Archon Fung, Harvard Kennedy School Academic Dean, that featured members of the Commission and other redistricting experts. Former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger was in attendance and also gave remarks about redistricting reform.
