Mike Waterbury, aka Section 8, is a veteran of both the Atlanta Dubstep and Drum & Bass scenes. He has played all across the southeast, including an instance of filling in for LTJ Bukem & performing alongside the legendary MC Conrad. He soon focused on production, and in September of 2009, Section 8’s debut release entitled “Mercury EP” was released on Abducted Records. Only out a few days, “Boulevard” appeared in Beatport’s Top 100 for Dubstep. In 2014, Section 8 grew an attraction to Techno after working as a sound engineer. He has been diving back into the world of music production and has 2016 releases already scheduled for multiple labels for both Dubstep and Techno.
