Listen

Description

More rhythmic squelchy deepness emitting from the hardware machines. Pay Special attention to detail in the drum patterns as there are some really nice playful touches when you listen closely. Simplistic synth lines carry you through the 9 minutes, but are constantly morphed and tweaked, like techno should. Simple and subtle are in the details.

This track came together as it was my first one using my newly built (soldering components and all that jazz) with a Sonic Potions LXR Digital Drum Synthesizer. The drum synth is a lot of fun and has some nifty features I'm only using to seeing on Computers. All drums noises and sequencing except for the 1/4 note and 1/8th note clap parts (vermona drm1-mkiii) came from the LXR. No soft synths used in this excursion. Only 3 tracks/parts ultimately got used from the Elektron AnalogFour as I decided to cut the last part I had created. Sound was competing and just didn't needed the extra distraction. Again.. I think a better sign of maturity in my producing side to know when to cut and know when to run.
