Picked this Elektron piece up last week (my first new synth in over 18 years). Got to spend a little time on it this past weekend. Just recorded this 1 pattern pass which is about 5 minutes and change in duration.
Tracks 3 and 4 are the Kick (4) and then snare-ish hat sounds (3). Track 1 is the steady lead bass line getting a fair share of 'performance mode' knob noodling and Track 2 is just LFOs and the Arpeggiator going at it for a bit of random 'melody'.
Nothing else was used and just recorded straight into Ableton Live after adjusting the mid out sync offset so that things will play and lineup nicely in live. I synced up tight to some 606 drum kits patterns I banged out which really flush out the track, but those sounds were omitted for this upload. I'll probably do a few more takes of performing this track and just consider calling it 'done' for the sake of making something really quick.
The recording path was AnalogFour > 2 Ferrite Transformer DI boxes > Phonic 808 Firewire Interface going into 1 stereo track in Ableton Live on a Mac.
