And then there were four. Divisional weekend is done and that means we are left with the best of the best and this year that means a truly heavyweight Conference round awaits. Before that we get the biggest news stories including a new GM in Tennessee, the Patriots hiring an actual offensive coordinator and the announcement of 2023 International Series home teams.
We review each Divisional round game as a hobbling Mahomes (and a Henne cameo) do enough to let the Chiefs beat the upstart Jaguars, Philly beat down their NFC East rival Giants as Hurts & co. dominate from the off, the Bengals have ice in their veins as they bury the Bills hopes in a snowy Orchard Park and the solid 49ers edge out a Dallas team unable to get out of their own way.
Finally we preview the Championship round. First up the NFC as the 49ers travel to Eagles and will hope Brock Purdy can survive the fearsome Philly defensive line (and fans) while hoping their elite defense can contain the now-healthy Hurts-led offense. Next the AFC as the Chiefs welcome the Bengals to a raucous Arrowhead and hope to undo the Burrow hoodoo while nursing a now hurt Mahomes.
