The CoronaVirus is spreading. Media outlets are giving almost hourly updates on death tolls and the growing number of confirmed cases. Quarantines are being put into place. Travel bans are being enacted. Stock exchanges are being delayed or shut down. What impact will this have?

What’s concerning about this virus is the type of attention it is getting. It seems that the fear factor is bing pushed like a military force making its way towards its designated target, primed for invasion. But is this virus as deadly as the media makes it sound? Do we need to panic? Or is there something else going on?
There is a report by a former Israeli intelligence officer that claims ground zero for the virus, which is in Wuhan, is also the location of one of China’s biological warfare research laboratories. Is it possible a weaponized virus escaped? If this information is correct, this could be a possibility. But do we need to panic?
Whether pandemic-worthy or not, however, the attention given to this virus (over other viruses equally as scary), may suggest an attempt to influence world economies. Could this be another step towards the transition from the fiat monetary system to a digital-based economy using cryptocurrencies? Time will tell…
