1. He established in his heart who God is and what He does (4:17)
2. He expected God to come through when most would have given up hope (4:18)
3. He refused to spend time focusing on the doubt-causing impossibility (4:19)
4. He didn’t allow himself to wobble on the fact that God made a promise (4:20a)
5. He became strengthened in faith as he gave glory to God (4:20b)
