1. Because Scripture is PREEMINENT - Matthew 5:17
• Jesus did not DENIGRATE the Old Testament - Matthew 5:17
• Jesus did not DENY the Old Testament - Matthew 5:17; Jeremiah 31:31; Exodus 20:1, 2; Matthew 3:15
2. Because Scripture is PERMANENT
Matthew 5:18; Psalm 12:6, 7; Matthew 24:35
