Daniel 8:1-27
Antiochus and Antichrist
1. Will both arise when sin reaches its height (v.23)
2. Will both be powerful, but not by their own ability, by work of Satan (v.24)
3. Will both cause widespread devastation (v.24)
4. Will both crush military commanders, leaders of nations, and people of God (v.24)
5. Will both use deceit to achieve their goals (v.25)
6. Will both consider themselves superior and exalt themselves above all others (v.25)
7. Will both promise peace then attack and slaughter many (v.25)
8. Will both oppose the Lord, continually cursing and blaspheming (v.25)
9. Will both be destroyed by God Himself (v.25)
