"At the end of September 2020, local residents began to report an environmental disaster off the coast of Kamchatka. They complained that the water off the coast of Khalaktyrsky Beach near Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky had changed color and had an unusual smell. A large number of dead sea animals were washed ashore. Surfers have complained of health problems, including blurred vision... The causes of the environmental disaster are still being investigated.."
