The Holyoke Public Schools year 2018-19 is now in session, and after a two-day delay due to a heatwave, we got together at the Media Literacy Program to listen to Shayleena, one of our youth voices and her experience on the first day of school at Holyoke High School. This narrative is one of the most important to have, and to listen to, as is the reality from the student's point of view, and there are many important things to know from them.
