V. Thavachelvan, the chairman of the Federation of Fisheries Societies in Jaffna on Sunday told TamilNet that the fishermen representatives were calling for the participation of the Northern Provincial Council as a party in the ‘high-level’ meetings taking place between the affected parties at the presence of various SL and Indian ministries.
