Silent Extent is back. Based in Bern, Switzerland, the duo of Patrick and Chris have revived their original project in 2024, bringing new life to the name.
Originally launched in 2007 as a trio with Toni B, Silent Extent quickly rose through the ranks with releases on international labels like Viper Recordings, Close 2 Death, and others. Known for their versatile style — the group performed across Switzerland and abroad, including the U.S.. After pausing the project in 2012, the silence lasted more than a decade.
Now reborn as a duo, Silent Extent has returned with sharpened focus and fresh fire. With five new releases already out in 2025 and more signed to respected imprints like Architecture Recordings and Close 2 Death, this comeback is anything but nostalgic — it’s a bold step forward.
With deep roots in the craft — Chris DJing since 1996 and Patrick since 2002 — their sets are driven by experience, precision, and raw energy. Silent Extent brings a no-compromise sound made for people that live for bass.
