Description

No, not THAT The Shining. That was The Shining. This is STEPHEN KING'S The Shining.

Stephen King was famously displeased with Stanley Kubrick's 1980 adaptation of his book about hotels and the souls they devour. Apparently King felt that 17 years was all it took for the public to forget one of the most beloved horror films of all time, and set about EPing a miniseries adaptation of his classic novel. Directed by Mick Garris, and starring Steven Weber and Rebecca de Mornay as Jack and Wendy Torrence, Stephen King's The Shining is a trip into the valley of the uncanny and then the mountain of exposition.

Also in this episode: a very earnest, very prolonged bath hag discussion.
