1. Rest and Salvation, now and forever
Rest is Christological (based on who Jesus is and what He has done)
It's a dangerous lie to say that if we just work hard enough, we'll be able to reach the point of rest.

2. Rest and Sanctification, now and forever
Sanctification- make holy; separated from sin, dedicated to God
Rest is a purposefully good gift from our loving and wise Creator and Father.
