Description

1 Corinthians 15:12-19

A. Paul’s Argument: No Resurrection = No Hope
1. Proclaiming Christ is a Waste
2. Faith has No Real Effect
3. We are Lying about God
4. We are still in Our Sins
5. Those who have died have Perished
6. We have Only This Life
•So we should be pitied for suffering and sacrificing for something that is a lie

B. Paul’s Message: Jesus is the Resurrection and Life
1. Proclaiming Christ is Crucial
2. Faith is Effective
3. God’s Power and Word are True
4. We are Free from Sin in Christ
5. Death is not the End
6. We live for more than This Life
•So we should endure suffering and make sacrifices with eternal perspective

C. Don’t Waste the Resurrection
1. Receive Christ’s Forgiveness and Eternal Life
2. Remember, what you’re facing now isn’t the end of the Story
3. Sacrifice radically and Live boldly with Hope, Joy, Peace, and Freedom
