Or zarua la-tzadik u’l’yish’rei lev simhah.
Bi-shivah shel malah, u-vi-shivah shel
matah, al da’at ha-makom v’al da’at
ha-kahal, anu matirin l’hitpalleil im ha-avaryanim.
Light is sown for the righteous, and joy
for those whose hearts are true. By the
authority of the court on high and by the
authority of this court below, with divine
consent and with the consent of this
congregation, we grant permission to pray
with those who have transgressed.
