Need a recharge? Who isn’t? Luckily this month’s Tissue Mixtape called "Deep Connection" is made by smart and charming Perila, who you might know from her addictive shows on Berlin Community Radio. Perila aka Alexandra Zakharenko also works on the online radio and tells that it is an amazing place to meet people and share your thoughts and be who you are.
She says that one of her inspirations for making music is her desire to share her vibe with the world, and that her mixes reflect herself. Each track has a meaning, and like a trip, the idea with the mix is to travel from the beginning to the end through ups and downs and to feel what you feel.
Perila's compilation reflects her love for Deep House. Below the mellow surface her ambient mix is both powerful and touching. Perila creates bubbles of pure bliss away from reality. It easily brings nature to your mind spiced with tiny bits of racking tribal sounds. Good to know that she is planning to produce music again soon.
