US equity markets climbed - Dow up +-102 points or +0.39%, with Walt Disney Co rose +4.44% after analysts at Morgan Stanley raised his price target on the stock to US$160 per share from US$135, citing the company’s new streaming service and noting it could give its global subscriber numbers a boost. The broader S&P500 rose+0.41%, with Materials (up +1.68%) leading ten of the eleven primary sectors higher. Health Care (down -0.11%) was the only primary sector to close lower. Target Corp edged +0.1% higher after announcing it was raising its quarterly dividend by 3.1%, to US0.66 cents a share from US$0.64 cents The NASDAQ gained +0.62%. The small capitalisation Russell 2000 closed near its session highs, up +1.05%.
