Another record closing high for the Dow however the broader S&P500 and technology-centric Nasdaq indices both snapped a three-session winning streak - Dow up +45-points or +0.20%, while the broader S&P500 slipped -0.11% (albeit the index did establish a new record intra-day high - 2,498.43 - earlier in the session). The NASDAQ fell -0.48%. The markets largely shrugged of some fresh tensions out of North Korea, with rogue state's news agency reporting threats to use nuclear weapons to "sink" Japan and reduce the United States to "ashes and darkness" for supporting a U.N. Security Council resolution and sanctions over its latest nuclear test.
