The NASDAQ closed down -0.29%, with Apple (down -2.37%) posting its biggest single-session decline since 10 August amid speculation of soft demand and cuts in production for the iPhone 8. Technology heavyweights Facebook, Google parent Alphabet, Netflix and Amazon all finished in the red.
