A rebound for the technology sector and other high growth stocks underpinned gains on US equity markets after the worst two-session slide in eight-months - Dow up +287-points or +1.15% , led a by a +4.7% jump for Visa Inc. It was another volatile session, with the Dow trading as much as +414-points higher and also spending a brief period in the red. The broader S&P500 +1.42%, snapping a six day losing streak - its longest such stretch of losses since a nine-day drop that ended in November 2016.- as the Information Technology sector (up +3.2%) The technology-centric NASDAQ outperformed with a +2.29% gain - its best single session performance since 26 March - with Netlfix Inc up +5.8%, Amazon.com Inc +4%, Apple Inc +3.6% and Alphabet Inc +2.7%.
