Fresh record highs for the benchmark US indices on Friday night, with a relatively muted response to the October jobs report - Dow up +23-points or +0.10% and the broader S&P500 +0.31%, NASDAQ +0.74%, with Apple rallying +2.% after posting strong fourth-quarter numbers after the close of the market last Thursday and describing pre-orders for their tenth anniversary iPhone, the iPhone X, as "off the charts". The Dow and S&P500 notched their eighth consecutive weekly gain, up +0.45% and +0.26% respectively. The Nasdaq recorded its sixth consecutive weekly advance (up +0.94%).
