Rising tensions between the US and North Korea pulled Wall Street lower as safe haven assets caught a bid overnight - Dow down -37-points or -0.17% (with Walt Disney Co the worst index performer with a -3.88% fall following a soft second quarter result after the closing bell of the previous session) and the broader S&P500 -0.04%. The technology-centric NASDAQ lost -0.28%. US Defence secretary Mattis joined President Trump in warning that North Korea should stop "isolating itself" and "should cease any consideration of actions that would lead to the end of its regime and the destruction of its people". The latest warnings came after North Korea threatened to attack US bases in Guam.
