US markets rallied as investors continued to ponder the Trump administration's decision to withdraw from the Iran nuclear deal and as a fresh rally in oil prices helped push 10-year Treasury yields back up to 3.0% - Dow up +182-points or +0.75%, with 23 of the 30 blue-chip components gaining ground as the index extended its longest winning streak in almost 3-months. The broader S&P500 +0.97%, with the Energy sector (up +2%) leading a number of strong sector moves that saw all of Financials, Materials, Industrials and Technology gain over >1%. Telecoms and utilities were the only laggards, down -1.1% and -0.8%, respectively. The technology-centric NASDAQ rallied +1.0%, with Amazon Inc up for an eighth consecutive session (+1.05) and logging its fourth straight record closing high. Walmart fell -3.1% after the retailer said its $16B acquisition of 77% of Indian e-commerce firm Flipkart Group would hurt profits.
