U.S. indices were mixed overnight, with both the Dow and the S & P 500 falling slightly, led by energy stocks as a result of oil prices dropping another 2% overnight - Dow ended 57 points, or -0.3%, and the S&P500 closed -0.1%, while the technology-centric NASDAQ rose +0.7%, with Amazon, Google and Facebook all rallying around 1% and Apple up 0.6% .
